The tire
The IceMax RW501 is a studless winter tire. Its cold-weather compound stays flexible below freezing, and its tread is cut with fine slits, called sipes, that grip snow and ice.
- Severe-snow certified: carries the three-peak mountain snowflake.
- Ice-grip rated: carries the EU ice-grip symbol.
- Studless: nothing to install or remove.
- Manufacturing warranty: 3 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first.

Sizes and prices

Manufacturing warranty
Whichever comes first.
- Tread separation
- A tire that cannot be balanced properly after three attempts
- Bulges across the tire caused by a fault in manufacturing
Free replacement within the first 2/32″ of tread wear, then pro-rated on the tread used. Mounting and balancing are extra. Road-hazard damage is not covered: a single bulge on the sidewall is almost always caused by a pothole or curb impact, not by a defect.
